Don’t hire anyone without doing this

Whether it’s your first or fifth person, hiring someone to join your practice is a BIG deal. It’s an investment of money, yes. But, it’s not just that. It takes considerable time to train a person and depending on their role, they can be in a position to make a significant impression on you and your practice. Despite the potential consequences, I’ve seen Advisors hire too quickly. And…I’ve seen the disappointment that follows.

Your support staff is an integral part of your practice’s success, so taking the time to find the right person is very important. One important step is to have at least two other people that know you and your working style interview the candidates that have passed your screening.
