A lot of Advisors get to the point where they determine they NEED an assistant. Their time is stretched thin and they realize in order to keep growing, they need someone to take over their administrative work. That’s one way of finally biting the bullet and hiring one.
I had an Advisor recently tell me he didn’t need an assistant. He can manage all the work an assistant would do in addition to the valuable client-facing work he does. He’s happy with his income and he doesn’t feel stretched thin so why bother hiring one? Well I have a strong opinion about that.
